C\u2019est avec cet op\u00e9ra-ballet que le Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre inaugure une nouvelle \u00e8re de collaboration entre sa sc\u00e8ne lyrique et sa compagnie de ballet. Il fallait pour cela une \u0153uvre o\u00f9 la danse et la voix sont \u00e0 parit\u00e9 quasi compl\u00e8te, et c\u2019est d\u00e9finitivement le cas des\u00a0<em>Indes galantes<\/em>. Au jeune chor\u00e9graphe\u00a0Demis Volpi\u00a0est confi\u00e9e pour cette production la direction chor\u00e9graphique du Ballet et l&#8217;on retrouve Lydia Steier en charge de la mise en sc\u00e8ne.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>&#8220;Lydia Steier vise volontairement \u00e0 la confusion et des genres et des \u00eatres. Et l\u00e0 aussi\u00a0le spectateur est presque \u00ab\u00a0d\u00e9licieusement\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0perdu. A ce travail tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant correspond l\u2019engagement de Leonardo Garcia-Alarc\u00f3n au service de l\u2019entreprise, avec Cappella Mediterranea. Il sert ici de mani\u00e8re convaincue l\u2019entreprise de Lydia Steyer et Demis Volpi, adaptant ses tempi, proposant une version plus retenue et plus intimiste, mais gardant ce son tr\u00e8s clair, cette pr\u00e9cision des attaques, ce soin apport\u00e9 au phras\u00e9 qui font de la performance musicale une vraie r\u00e9ussite.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<cite><strong>Guy Cherqui pour Wanderer<\/strong><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Une premi\u00e8re au Grand Th\u00e9\u00e2tre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Rameau \u00e9crivit ce chef-d\u2019\u0153uvre du genre de \u00ab l\u2019op\u00e9ra-ballet \u00bb dont la nature l\u00e9g\u00e8re entrem\u00eale g\u00e9n\u00e9reusement les parties chant\u00e9es d\u2019interm\u00e8des dans\u00e9s. \u00c0 l\u2019\u00e9poque, tous les rivages \u00e9loign\u00e9s sont des \u00ab Indes \u00bb, occidentales, orientales, asiatiques, am\u00e9ricaines, et \u00abgalant\u00bb a bien plus le sens d\u2019\u00ab\u00e9rotique\u00bb, que de \u00ab pr\u00e9venant \u00bb. Louis Fuzelier, le librettiste des&nbsp;<em>Indes galantes<\/em>, s\u2019inspire de l\u2019engouement de l\u2019\u00e9poque pour les relations de voyage. Le th\u00e8me de son intrigue se r\u00e9sume assez simplement&nbsp;: l\u2019Amour r\u00e8gne en ma\u00eetre, m\u00eame dans les climats les plus exotiques.
