Premier des six op\u00e9ras-ballets de Jean-Philippe Rameau, Les Indes galantes<\/em> sont l\u2019un des chefs-d\u2019\u0153uvre absolus de la musique baroque. De l\u2019aveu du chef Leonardo Garc\u00eda Alarc\u00f3n, l\u2019ouvrage (cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1735) est une prodigieuse \u226a machine \u00e0 enchanter \u226b.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

“Ballet h\u00e9ro\u00efque”, <\/em>Les Indes Galantes sont le deuxi\u00e8me ouvrage lyrique de Rameau et le premier de ses six op\u00e9ras-ballets. Le spectacle est total, l’exotisme est un pr\u00e9texte \u00e0 introduire d\u00e9cors et costumes prodigieux – et totalement d\u00e9connect\u00e9s des peuples \u00e9voqu\u00e9s. Quant \u00e0 la musique, c’est un v\u00e9ritable triomphe pour Rameau : la subtilit\u00e9 et l’inventivit\u00e9 de son \u00e9criture continuent de nous \u00e9blouir ; sa maitrise raffin\u00e9e et savante de l’harmonie, en permanente rechercher de la perfection, trouvent ici un aboutissement id\u00e9al.”<\/em>
